How it works

Inside a royalty contract.

One contract per work: it holds the split sheet and pays everyone by the rule you agreed.

Anatomy

Sources pay the contract; the contract credits every balance; everyone withdraws on their own schedule.

Continuous or interval release

Split every second, or hold inflows and release them on a schedule.

Continuous

  • Balances move every second
  • Best for streams and frequent sales
  • More, smaller transactions

Daily or weekly

  • Inflows wait in a held balance
  • Anyone can trigger a release early
  • Fewer transactions, lower fees

Precision: integer math and rounding dust

Amounts are whole micro-units (1 tUSDC = 1,000,000). Shares round down; the remainder is dust.

Example: 4.100001 tUSDC split 35 / 25 / 20 / 10 / 10

Noor · 35%1.435000
Théo · 25%1.025000
Ama · 20%0.820000
Rui · 10%0.410000
Treasury · 10% + dust0.410001

Bonus rules

Past a play threshold, one collaborator gains points; everyone else gives up a pro-rata slice.

Changes need every signature

Anyone can propose new shares. Nothing changes until every collaborator signs; one decline keeps the current split.

Straight answers.

Is this real money?

No. This is a testnet demo with simulated tUSDC and a simulated wallet. Nothing you do here moves real funds.

Do my collaborators need to do anything?

Only share a wallet address. They can watch their balance and withdraw whenever they want; they only sign again if someone proposes a change.

What happens to fractions of a cent?

Shares are computed in whole micro-units. Any remainder goes to the work's treasury recipient and shows up in the ledger, so totals always reconcile.

Can a split change after release?

Yes, if every current collaborator signs the amendment. It applies from that second on; past earnings never move.

Continuous or weekly: which should I pick?

Continuous if you want everyone to see money land live. Weekly if inflows are tiny and you'd rather batch network fees.

See it move.
